Bio
Hey, I'm Nicole. 28. Degrees in film (animation) and neuroscience (two bachelors in 5 years) from Tufts University. In real life I'm a vet tech for one of Boston's largest animal shelters. Among other things I do in real life...I'm a member of Anime Boston's technical management staff, live for skiing, and make my own independent films.

Living in Boston now, but I was born and raised in the NYC area. Eventually I think I'll get back there.

Best not to ask what my life plan is. I'm working towards being a vet, but that doesn't mean I will give up everything I love to do outside of that in the process.

Fort Walton, Kansas is a fictional town from the movie The Rock, where Sean Connery tells Nicholas Cage to go at the end of the movie if he 'fancies an adventure'.

(You should know that my little vice in life is Nicholas Cage action movies...and anything involving Sean Connery kicking ass--this movie being a prime example of both. Also Michael Bay doing what he does best in this film...and I'm only mildly annoyed by it.) Honestly Quentin Tarantino will always win my award for most annoyingly arrogant director out there.

'Reaching for Truth in a Self Revolution' is a line from a very talented hip hop group I really enjoy [info]bluescholars.

My ramblings to my journal tend to be disorganized and about my life (which is quite lame). Occasionally I will post random things from fandoms I troll around in. Occassionally I'll rant about art and how our culture so marginalizes it.

You can find my other online nonsense elsewhere if you know how to look.

Friending? Chances are that if I've friended you...it's because I like something you've done or I know you in real life (mostly awesome AB peeps). You can feel free to add me back should you have some interest, comment or not...I'm very low key. I'm also moderately boring. That should be a warning or something.

Thanks to [info]sdroid who created the Jak and Daxter mood theme.
The layout is heavily modified from one created by [info]oddlyfamiliar at [info]colour_burn. Much thanks to them for writing out the tedious CSS code.
